So far in March TFN has visited Fuji in the GT-R Nismo
Good turn out was seen for this frustrating combo with full slipstream set to on, it proved to be a handful once you got it up to speed as stopping it was something else. We had a lot of new faces join in with this week, maybe they will come back again in future events.
Then we went on to Suzuka for the Millionaires race in Gr 1 cars.
Good turn out for this class Mr Bass plus friend Matt which was his first time racing online in GTsport, brave man picking this event as your first, he did very well all the same. pigpin13, MrCooper, MikeyLCD, hirnsauger, Wookie and myself made up the rest of the field, having three compounds to use plus the moto-bike chicane gave the event a twist everyone seemed to enjoy. I did for some reason think that this event would bring a lot of the real fast gents out of the woodwork.
What news of Gran Turismo 7, GT 7 as we know from the statement by Kazunori at the Taipei Game Show 2018, the game is in production. We know that this game is never released at a regular time frame, it should come at no surprise to find a 2019 date would be out of the question, more likely to be a late 2020 at the earliest.
Gt Sport was designed towards more of a online program, one would hope that Gran Turismo 7 will favour a more offline approach, getting back some of the great features which made the game so popular.
